About Me

I'm a 30-something website designer living in sunny Colorado with my husband Tim and our yellow lab Chase. This is my photoblog.

I've been fascinated with photography since I was a child, winning my first camera (120 film) in a greeting card sales contest. I tried to pursue photography briefly in college, but sports and music and academics got in the way.

I spent a few years working in the sport marketing profession, and began to take sports action and team photos in order to maximize my photography budget at work. Then in 2006 Tim and Chase and I took an 8-month road trip around the western United States, and I began taking lots of landscape and scenic images.

When we moved to Colorado in October, I became very interested in portraiture and I'm now focusing my photographic efforts in that direction.
